Vice President, AI Innovation & Partnerships

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, AI Innovation & Partnerships to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This executive role will shape the organization’s AI innovation agenda, with a focus on identifying high-value opportunities that improve member outcomes and strengthen operational performance. The position will partner closely with business and technology leaders to evaluate emerging capabilities, guide rapid prototyping, and advance secure, scalable AI solutions in a highly regulated healthcare environment. As a senior thought partner to leadership, this role will help define technical strategy, assess strategic vendor relationships, and ensure that AI initiatives are implemented with reliability, quality, and compliance in mind. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $207,000 – $392,100 annually Responsibilities Lead AI innovation and strategic technology partnerships to enhance member outcomes and operational performance Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify and frame complex AI opportunities Guide multidisciplinary teams through rapid prototyping and technical validation of AI solutions Define technical strategies for vendor AI solutions and ensure integration with the organization’s systems Evaluate emerging vendor capabilities and recommend strategic partnerships or developments Establish quality standards for AI prototypes and production solutions, ensuring reliability and security Advise senior leadership on AI trends and represent the organization in strategic partnerships Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 12+ years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, or technology strategy 10+ years leading enterprise technology initiatives with executive-level responsibilities Proven ability to translate complex business opportunities into scalable AI solutions Experience in healthcare or regulated industries, with secure and compliant AI implementations preferred Strong leadership experience in software engineering, cloud platforms, and data analytics Benefits Comprehensive health insurance coverage 401K and stock purchase plans Tuition reimbursement for continued education Generous paid time off plus holidays Flexible work arrangements including remote, hybrid, or office options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
