What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Develop and own the comprehensive alliance and partner strategy for Equifax Government Solutions, ensuring alignment with the business unit’s revenue targets, product roadmap, and overall corporate strategy.
- Identify white-space market opportunities and determine the "Build, Buy, or Partner" approach to maximize market coverage and solution completeness.
- Present and advocate for the alliance strategy and performance to the Equifax executive leadership team.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-impact partners, with a focus on top-tier Federal, State, and Local Government System Integrators (SIs) and Prime Contractors.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with major Social Services Advisory and IV&V firms to influence their recommendations for state and federal systems modernization projects.
- Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships at the executive level with key partners to ensure sustained mutual commitment and investment.
- Negotiate, structure, and finalize complex partnership agreements, including terms, joint go-to-market (GTM) plans, and technology integration roadmaps.
- Define and execute joint GTM plans, including co-selling motions, co-marketing initiatives, and sales enablement programs that drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
- Drive specific engagement with Advisory/IV&V firms to position Equifax data and verification solutions (e.g., The Work Number®) as essential components in the design, architecture, and validation of new government technology systems.
- Collaborate closely with the Equifax Government Solutions Sales team to integrate partners into account strategy, bid and proposal efforts, and large-scale contract pursuits.
- Establish clear, measurable KPIs and a robust tracking system to monitor partner performance, revenue contribution, and ROI of alliance investments.
- Act as the internal voice of the partner, collaborating with Product, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure solutions are partner-friendly and align with government regulations, security requirements, and the evaluation criteria of IV&V engagements.
- Ensure partners are fully enabled through training, resources, and technical support to effectively position, sell, and implement Equifax solutions.
- Lead the resolution of partnership-related conflicts, sales disputes, and operational issues.
What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic alliances, partner management, or business development, leadership experience preferred
- Deep and proven experience within the U.S. Public Sector/Government market (Federal, State & Local), specifically working with and managing relationships with top-tier Government System Integrators (SIs) and major contractors.
- Demonstrable experience engaging with Advisory and IV&V firms, within the Health and Human Services (HHS), Social Services, or Medicaid domains
- Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and monetizing partner ecosystems that resulted in significant, measurable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, cloud platforms, and enterprise software as-a-service (SaaS) business models, especially within the context of government technology modernization.
- Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate value to both technical and policy-focused audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required to manage and develop partner relationships.
