About the role
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Provide care of patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH) and/or Penn Medicine at Radnor (PMR).
- Clinical responsibilities may include advanced endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, neurogastroenterology, esophagology, hepatology, and general gastroenterology.
- Oversee the clinical programs in gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy across the 3 hospitals.
- Develop innovative ways for the clinical practice in the Division.
- Provide management and/or leadership.
Requirements
- Must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified in Gastroenterology.
