About the role

Vialto Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. This role will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to derive insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
  • Develop predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or machine learning
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
  • Experience with SQL and data warehousing tools like Snowflake or Redshift
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Passionate about solving real-world problems with data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
  • Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
  • Understanding of data privacy and ethical considerations in data analysis

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
