About the role
This on-site position is located at Vishay Electro Films in Warwick, Rhode Island. Our 57,000 sq. ft. facility employs 92 people across three shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operates equipment in performing etch/plating and sanding on ceramic substrates.
- Reads and interprets routine production specifications and drawings.
- Performs equipment set up and calibration; makes necessary adjustments per applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks.
- Receives and delivers chemicals throughout the facility.
- Removes and disposes of waste chemicals.
- Reads and interprets internal process instructions.
Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
- Good hand/finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Will be required to wear clean room and PPE attire.
- Must possess the ability to read and write to understand production documents, specifications, and designs, and accurately record required information.
- Able to perform mathematic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a learned method or calculator.
