About the role

Via uses app-based technology to make transportation more efficient. We are reinventing shared rides to help reduce congestion, lower emissions and get passengers to their destinations efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Connect with RIDE riders using the Via Platform
• Provide shared rides using an efficient routing system
• Drive when and where you choose
• Receive 24/7 live support from real people
• Lease a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner
• Pass a background check and DOT pre-engagement drug test

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 25 years old
• More than 1 year of driving history
• Personal auto insurance policy
• Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and submit to ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing

• Self-employed and independent contractor
• Flexible scheduling
• Ability to drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (up to $20/hour)
