About the role

Via uses app-based technology to make transportation more efficient. We operate the CATS Paratransit service to serve eligible disabled passengers in the Baton Rouge region, and we are looking to find amazing new drivers to join this service!

Responsibilities

• Assist riders in boarding and exiting vehicles
• Assist riders in traveling distances if their disability or adverse weather conditions make it difficult for them to negotiate the distance between the curb and their destination
• Connect with riders on a personal level to ensure safe, respectful, and reliable service

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license from Louisiana
• At least 25 years of age
• More than one year of driving history
• Pass paratransit training
• Pass background check
• Pass drug test
• Proficient in English
