The Veterinary Assistant Certificate program prepares students to care for the well-being of animals in animal hospitals and clinics by performing routine tasks under the supervision of veterinarians, veterinary technologists, and technicians.

Certificate: Veterinary Assistant

• General Education Courses: These can be taken at any MCC campus. Courses include ANHS 100, ANHS 130, and ANHS 140.
• Program Specific Courses: Offered at select campuses during certain semesters. Courses include ANHS 150.
• Management Related Courses: Offered online and on campus. Courses include ACCT 101, BUSN 105, BUSN 150, BUSN 200, BUSN 240, and BUSN 270.
