Responsibilities

• Practice high-quality, comprehensive small animal medicine, including Urgent Care services.
• Adhere to rigorous AAHA standards in patient care and facility maintenance.
• Receive streamlined access to internal specialty consultations for complex case management.
• Work closely with experienced veterinarians and technicians in a fast-paced, professional setting.
• Assist with patient care, observe procedures, and perform technical tasks under supervision.
• Learn from dedicated mentors and contribute to the smooth operation of the hospital.
• Develop professional skills in effective communication and clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an AVMA CVTEA-accredited Veterinary Technician/Nursing program.
• Eligibility to participate in an externship as required by your academic program.
• A strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and a willingness to adapt in a clinical setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and restrain animals, and handle clinical instruments.
