Responsibilities

  • General management of the veterinary practice ensuring overall success while meeting benchmarks
  • Reporting, payroll processing, hiring, and employee supervision
  • Primary job responsibilities as a veterinary technician, including direct patient care
  • Demonstrate superior/advanced technical skills, including strong anesthesia skills (obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in a veterinary clinic setting
  • Positive work attitude and self-motivated
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills

Pay

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an hourly pay rate starting at $26 - $37 per hour, plus additional compensation for the Lead Position. The actual rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, certifications, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule

Must be able to travel to our part-time location in Palm Desert at least once a month.
