Veterinary Technician - Part-Time

Our Wellington Petcare Center is seeking a weekend-only Veterinary Technician to join our mission-driven team in South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics.
• Educate pet parents with compassion and clarity.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and patient histories.
• Promote low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction.
• Mentor assistants and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Requirements

• Saturday and Sunday availability; this is a weekend-only role.
• 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida.
• Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus).
• Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow.
