Veterinary Technician or Assistant Anesthesia - Angell West 10K sign on bonus

About the role

This is a full time 40 hour a week position; 4 ten hour days, weekdays, some weekend and holiday coverage required. On-Call Coverage as needed. Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
• Take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff
• Convey knowledge and expertise in veterinary surgery and anesthesia to others
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed

Requirements

• Qualified applicants should excel in interpersonal communication skills
• Must be reliable, independent, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Must have a passion for veterinary surgery and anesthesia
• Must have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine
• Must recognize the importance of conveying knowledge and expertise to others
• Must be willing to take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff
• Previous Animal Handling Experience required
• Associates or better in Veterinary Technology or related field required
• Certified Vet Tech required

Qualifications

• Bachelors or better in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred
• Vet Tech Specialist preferred

Pay

• Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour
• Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $27-$33/hour
• Additional pay for overtime and on-call
• Candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications
