Responsibilities

The Practice Leader is responsible for the general management of the veterinary practice, ensuring overall success while meeting benchmarks. In addition to primary veterinary technician duties, tasks include:

• Reporting and payroll processing
• Hiring and employee supervision
• Direct patient care

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• Superior/advanced technical skills
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a veterinary clinic setting
• Strong anesthesia skills (able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Positive work attitude and self-motivation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills

Pay

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an hourly pay rate starting at $26 - $37. Additional compensation is provided for the Lead Position.

Must be able to travel to our part-time location in Torrance at least once a month.
