Veterinary Technician - Ophthalmology Practice Leader

About the role

This is a shared leadership role, collaborating closely with an established Practice Leader to support our team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports the hospital's Integrator role, partnering with Eye Care for Animals and Thrive leadership to support team engagement, performance, and daily operations.
• Blends direct patient care with decision-making, problem-solving, and workflow improvement.
• Works 70% clinically and 30% in leadership roles.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
• Superior/advanced technical skills.
• Strong anesthesia skills (obtaining Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrating clinical signs with disease processes).
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills.

Pay

The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. An expected starting range of $25/hour to $30/hour is provided.
