Garden State Veterinary Services in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking experienced veterinary technicians to join our Ophthalmology department.

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential duties of a Veterinary Technician
• Assist with Ophthalmologic exams
• Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing
• Properly use and maintain medical equipment, including the operating room
• Provide professional client communication
• Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures, including ophthalmologic surgery

Requirements

• Certified technician preferred, but will consider those with 2 years of veterinary experience
• Team-oriented with a motivated, self-starter attitude
• Detail-oriented with sound problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and all members of the veterinary team
• Empathetic and kind approach to patient care
• Positive outlook and excellent organizational skills
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to have fun

Schedule

Wednesday - Saturday, 7:30am - 6pm

Pay

$23/hr - $34/hr depending on skills, experience, and credentials
