About the role

The Veterinary Technician supports the doctors in providing high-quality patient care and excellent client service. More specifically, the Veterinary Technician is responsible for obtaining baseline medical information, performing routine procedures, and assisting with surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining baseline medical information
  • Performing routine procedures
  • Aiding in surgical operations

Requirements

  • Standing for long periods
  • Some heavy lifting may be involved

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a veterinary technician program
  • Current certification from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAAVSB)

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience level.

Schedule
