About the role
The Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is seeking an experienced, full-time Veterinary Technician Manager to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing technical team and ensure exceptional patient care
- Provide hands-on clinical support and mentoring to veterinary professionals
- Oversee daily hospital operations
- Foster team growth and support an outstanding client and patient experience
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a Veterinary Clinic setting
- CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred
- Superior/advanced technical skills
- Strong anesthesia skills (Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02)
- Possesses a positive work attitude
- Self-motivated
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills

Pay
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $75,000 – $85,000/year. The actual salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
