Veterinary Technician Instructor - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Prepare engaging lectures and lead practical, hands-on demonstrations in the lab.
• Monitor laboratory competencies and use checklists to confirm students are ready for the field.
• Track attendance, meet with students to encourage retention, and provide the extra support they need to graduate.
• Stay organized by recording grades, following the established curriculum, and ensuring the classroom/lab environment meets all safety standards.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA-accredited program.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of practical, hands-on experience in the veterinary field.
• Licensure: Current Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) status (or other required state designation).
• Skills: Strong communication and basic tech skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
