Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments to trauma patients
• Performing diagnostic tests as directed by a veterinarian
• Assisting in surgical procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian
• Monitoring patient vitals and reporting changes to the veterinary team
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Current license to practice veterinary technology in the state
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology and anesthesia
• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
