Veterinary Technician - ICU

Pay

Base pay: $26.75 – $51.32 per hour, dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.

Shift differentials (minimum 4 hours):

• Mon – Fri, 6 pm – 8 am: $4.50 per hour
• Sat & Sun, 6 pm – 8 am: $8.00 per hour
• Sat & Sun, 8 am – 6 pm: $4.50 per hour

Competitive shift‑differential pay for eligible night and weekend hours.

Schedule

Full‑time, Thursday – Saturday, 6 AM – 7 PM. Flexibility required for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as jugular catheters, central lines, or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with other technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine.
• Mentor and train co‑workers.
• Provide critical‑care nursing to stabilize patients and reunite them with pet parents.

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
