Veterinary Technician - ER ICU Swing Shift

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join their team. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

Qualifications

• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays

Schedule

The tentative schedule is Wednesday - Friday, swing shift. Flexibility required.

Pay

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. Tentative pay range is $20.00 - $40.00 / hour.
