About the Role
Garden State Veterinary Specialists (GSVS) in Eatontown, NJ is hiring Veterinary Technicians for daytime, overnight emergency, and specialty ICU roles. Work closely with specialists using advanced diagnostics and treatments in a supportive, team-focused, and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with anesthesia, sedation, and procedures
- Place IV catheters and manage fluid therapy
- Set up CRIs and perform medical calculations
- Radiology positioning and safety
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate care
- Prepare blood/plasma transfusions
- Collect diagnostic samples and maintain records
- Client education
Requirements
- CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or 2+ years of experience (VTS highly valued)
- Strong anesthesia and lab skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and normal ranges
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Positive attitude, integrity, and eagerness to learn
