About the role

We're currently looking to hire an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
  • Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
  • Room patients and assist with surgical procedures.
  • Draw blood, run bloodwork, and operate x-ray equipment with proper positioning.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Veterinary Technician.
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment; experience working with these tools is a plus.
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners.
  • Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint.
  • Understanding of common treatments and processes in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
  • Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Pay

$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

No weekends and no late evening shifts.
