Veterinary Surgeon - Kent - Up to £80,000

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced strong GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, friendly and highly experienced independent team at our 24-hour hospital — Mead Vet Centre in Dartford, Kent.

We are a well-equipped practice with all the usual equipment and gadgets. We are looking for a vet who is confident with routine surgery and ideally with a medicine bias. Ideally looking for a vet 2+ years qualified.

Working alongside certificate holders, you'll be seeing an interesting and varied caseload. The transport links are fantastic, the area is amazing and the team morale is high!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced veterinary procedures with confidence
• Diagnose and treat a varied caseload alongside certificate holders in Surgery, Exotics, Medicine, Endocrinology, Imaging and more
• Participate in a supportive, fast-paced and rewarding environment with strong team spirit

Requirements

• 2+ years qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon
• Confidence with routine surgery and ideally a medicine bias
• Commitment to high standards of clinical care and compassionate patient management

Pay

Up to £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Schedule

• Full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days
• Alternative considered: 3 days per week — 12-hour shifts with 1:4 weekends (with time back in lieu the following week)
