Responsibilities

- Gain meaningful hands-on experience in diverse clinical settings including small animal general practice, mixed animal medicine, urgent care, dentistry, exotic and avian medicine, feline-exclusive practices, and AAHA-accredited hospitals. - Work closely with experienced veterinarians and veterinary teams to learn about physical examinations, client communication, diagnostic planning, treatment planning, in-house laboratory procedures, surgical and dental procedures, medical record documentation, time management, workflow efficiency, team collaboration, and professional communication. - Participate in mentorship programs and networking opportunities with veterinary professionals. - Explore potential future employers through flexible externship experiences tailored to individual interests and career goals.

Requirements

- Be a veterinary student in any year of veterinary school. - Have a strong interest in exploring various aspects of veterinary medicine. - Possess a commitment to learning and professional development.
