About the role

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE) is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Sonographer to join their Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic Peninsula.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound studies and obtain diagnostic samples as requested
  • Collaborate with teleconsultation radiologists and maintain strong, professional relationships while incorporating their feedback

Requirements

  • Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), and/or equivalent experience (such as formal sonography course certificates)
  • 3+ years of veterinary ultrasound experience
  • Confidence in mentoring others and both giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • A strong desire to continue growing as a sonographer through ongoing training and continuing education
