About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an energetic, passionate, and driven Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate patience, respect, and compassion, and be eager to make a difference for animals.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of practitioners to implement the rehabilitation therapy plan.
• Provide nursing care to patients.
• Utilize technical skills.
• Communicate with clients and assist the veterinary practitioner as needed.
• Aid in the recovery and management of injured, debilitated, and post-surgical patients.
• Absorb and document daily complete digital medical records and consultations/rechecks.
• Aid in therapeutic exercises.
• Aid in restraint during ultrasound or TENS treatment, underwater treadmill therapy.
• Prepare and educate patients and rooms.
• Take and record digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks.

Requirements

• Holds a current CCRP certification.
• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience working in veterinary medicine.
• Can lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work on the floor, crawl, grasp objects, reach, and squat.

• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and animal anatomy.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
