About the Role

As the Veterinary Referral Coordinator, you'll serve as one of the most visible ambassadors of Apex Vets. Your primary responsibility is to cultivate meaningful, long-term partnerships with referring veterinary hospitals throughout the region. By understanding each practice's unique needs, proactively supporting their teams, and creating exceptional referral experiences, you'll help strengthen the trust that fuels collaborative patient care.

Working alongside hospital leadership, specialists and emergency doctors, client care, nursing staff, and marketing, you'll help identify opportunities to expand services, improve communication, enhance the referral experience, and support the continued growth of Apex. This role may also support select marketing and communications initiatives, including referral email communications and oversight of Apex's social media presence, based on your experience and the evolving needs of the hospital.

This role is ideal for someone who naturally builds relationships, enjoys solving problems, communicates with authenticity, and believes exceptional medicine begins long before a patient walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate meaningful, long-term partnerships with referring veterinary hospitals by understanding their unique needs and proactively supporting their teams.
• Create exceptional referral experiences to strengthen trust and collaboration in patient care.
• Work with hospital leadership, specialists, emergency doctors, client care, nursing staff, and marketing to identify opportunities for service expansion, improved communication, and enhanced referral experiences.
• Support select marketing and communications initiatives, such as referral email communications and oversight of Apex's social media presence.
• Serve as a visible ambassador of Apex Vets, representing the organization with professionalism, humility, and compassion.
