Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer phones and manage a busy appointment schedule efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate daily hospital flow
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Process invoices and collect payments
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members
  • Educate clients on preventive care, hospital services, and next steps
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every client interaction
  • Help create a positive, welcoming experience throughout the hospital

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Confidence taking ownership of responsibilities and following through
  • Compassion and empathy for clients, patients, and teammates
  • A collaborative, positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • A desire to continue learning and growing professionally
  • A great sense of humor and an appreciation for a supportive team culture

Pay

$16.66–$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (Four 10-hour shifts)
