Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Dandridge Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

About the role

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.

Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
• Provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars
• Accurately process payments and maintain financial records
• Collaborate with a team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (experience with specific software preferred)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-focused environment

Pay

$13–$16 per hour

Schedule

Flexible full-time 4/10 schedule with availability Monday–Friday, plus rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.
