Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
About the role
Fairmont Veterinary Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.
What sets this role apart is the expectation of genuine veterinary knowledge — you'll be the first point of contact for clients navigating everything from routine wellness visits to urgent calls, and your ability to triage with confidence, explain preventative care clearly, and handle emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism will make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their pets.
Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused environment. Prior veterinary experience or a strong baseline of medical knowledge is highly valued here — this is not a typical front desk role.
