Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Saint Francis Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative with a background in veterinary medicine to join our team. As the face of the hospital, our CSRs greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team and ensuring a welcoming, well-coordinated client experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage appointment scheduling and maintain an efficient daily workflow
• Serve as a key liaison between clients and the medical team, ensuring clear and timely communication
• Deliver empathetic, high-level customer service across a multi-line phone system and in-person interactions
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Respond to client inquiries with confidence, providing clear and informed guidance on services and patient care
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong client service and professional communication skills
• Experience acting as a liaison between clients and the medical team, with confidence discussing treatment plans and medical information
• Comfortable managing phones, clients, and administrative tasks simultaneously
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical records
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Schedule

This is a full-time position, offering a flexible schedule either 4 x 10s or 5 x 8s and availability needed Monday through Friday. No weekends.

Pay

Compensation: $16 - 20 per hour.
