Veterinary Radiation Oncologist

About the role

The BluePearl Pet Hospital in Sandy Springs, Atlanta is seeking a full-time, boarded or residency-trained Veterinary Radiation Oncologist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to critically ill or injured pets using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and performing life-saving procedures.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of specialists.
• Engage with pet owners compassionately, providing clear communication on medical conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary radiation oncology.
• Experience in treating cancer in companion animals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Georgia.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiation oncology principles and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
