Veterinary Medical Oncologist
About the role
Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join their team. The state-of-the-art hospital offers advanced imaging equipment such as CT, Fluoroscopy, and MRI, along with a supportive team including specialists in cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, neurology, radiology, surgery, and emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oncological care for a variety of species
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of oncology protocols
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school
- Board certification in veterinary oncology from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM)
- Experience in oncology preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in oncology diagnostics and treatment
- Effective leadership and teaching abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
