Animal Care Clinic Monadnock is a well-established small animal hospital in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. We provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and have a skilled support team and experienced Practice Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian ready to lead clinically while continuing to practice medicine.

Case Mix: Wellness care, preventative medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, diagnostics
Technology & Equipment: Digital Radiology, In-house Ultrasound, Dental Radiology, Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Cold Laser Therapy

Your Role as Medical Director
Lead by example through exceptional patient care and high-quality medicine
Establish and uphold medical standards and best practices
Mentor and develop associate veterinarians through coaching and case collaboration
Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture where every team member feels supported
Partner with the Practice Manager on hospital operations, workflow, scheduling, and strategic initiatives
Help recruit and onboard future veterinarians to grow the team
Serve as the hospital's Responsible Veterinarian and maintain regulatory compliance

$150,000-$170,000 base salary + production bonus

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain one in New Hampshire)
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Minimum 3-5 years of small animal clinical experience
Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Strong communication, client education, and relationship-building skills
