Responsibilities

• Lead the medical department, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with veterinary practices and regulations.
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to other veterinarians and technicians.
• Develop and implement medical protocols and policies to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
• Collaborate with the clinic management team to ensure the clinic operates smoothly and meets client expectations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience in managing a large caseload and supervising a team of veterinarians and technicians.
• Excellent communication and client-education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
