Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing on animal samples using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Specialize in an assigned department and contribute to the company's mission of enhancing the lives of people and pets.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A degree in a Science-related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment.
- A positive attitude and a desire to bring energy into the lab.
- An ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, enjoy working in a team, and have attention to detail.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing, sitting, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and specific vision abilities.
- Potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a laboratory setting, particularly as a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT).
- Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work in a laboratory setting, including standing, sitting, reaching, lifting, and specific vision abilities.

$23.25 / hr
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 6:30 PM. Shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.
