Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases
• Collaborate with surgical and emergency services to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in case rounds and contribute to the development of clinical protocols
• Contribute to the ongoing education and training of veterinary students and interns
• Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education and research

Requirements

• Board certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine or equivalent residency training
• Experience in both general and specialized internal medicine
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina
