About the role

Stone Ridge Equine Care is seeking a Hospital Manager to lead their equine-only veterinary practice in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will inspire and mentor a team, manage operations, uphold client service standards, and contribute to financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a team of technicians and receptionists while fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily hospital operations, streamline workflows, and ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
  • Client Experience: Uphold our high standards for client service, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
  • Financial Management: Lead budgeting efforts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to the hospital’s profitability and long-term success.

Requirements

  • Prior experience managing a veterinary team and clinic operations; ER and equine experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
  • Familiarity with revenue management, inventory control, and payroll systems.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends to support hospital needs.
  • A genuine love for animals and dedication to providing top-tier care.
