Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent dental issues in animals, ranging from routine cleanings to complex oral surgeries.
- Ensure patients can eat, play, and live without oral pain.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with primary care veterinarians, associated hospital departments, teammates, and others contacted in the course of work.
- Maintain composure, direction, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
- Work respectfully and compassionately with clients and their pets.
- Uphold the hospital’s great reputation with clients as a compassionate team player.
- Commit to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Board certification in Dentistry or residency trained.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
