Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon
About the role
Pet Emergency Treatment in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Skilled Dentist to join their well-equipped, progressive, AAHA accredited hospital. The ideal candidate should have a collaborative approach, work well in a team-based atmosphere, have a great attitude, and a willingness to maintain good relationships with referring veterinarians.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest quality medicine to pets and their owners in the Anchorage bowl and Alaskan “bush” communities.
- Collaborate with the hospital leadership team on equipment purchases and scheduling.
- Offer exceptional emergency and referral care, providing compassion to the people who love them, and supporting the local veterinary community at any time of day or night.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice veterinary dentistry in the state of Alaska.
- Experience in emergency and referral care is preferred but not required.
- A collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team-based atmosphere.
- A great attitude and willingness to maintain good relationships with referring veterinarians.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Board certification in veterinary dentistry preferred but not required.
- Experience in emergency and referral care is preferred but not required.
