About the role
Whitmire Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated full-time Customer Service Representative and team member to join their experienced, motivated, and passionate staff. The ideal candidate will be an overall team member, knowledgeable with animals, and communicate effectively with patients' owners.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking in clients
- Answering/returning phone calls
- Medical record management
- Inventory stock assistance
- Scheduling appointments
- Client communication and education
- Clerical responsibilities
- Maintaining hospital cleanliness
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 1+ years’ experience working in a veterinary hospital environment
- 1+ years’ experience working in a front desk/receptionist role
- Comfort communicating with clients
Skills
- Experience as a receptionist/front office representative
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Knowledgeable written and communication skills
- A positive customer service attitude
- Ability to be resourceful and take initiative
- Multitasking, time-management and organizational skills
