Veterinary Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and patients as they arrive for appointments and notifying technical staff when they arrive.
- Checking in/out patients; processing payments.
- Answering phone calls and routing calls as necessary; processing faxes and emails in a timely manner.
- Acting as a liaison to effectively communicate information between clients and medical staff.
- Coinciding and scheduling appointments; identifying potential emergencies and scheduling them appropriately; confirming appointments.
- Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of client/patient accounts; entering and obtaining previous medical records for new patients and updating accounts as necessary.
- Client education; becoming familiar with preventatives, vaccinations, routine testing, etc. to be able to confidently discuss with clients.
- Maintaining hospital cleanliness.
Requirements
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Required)
