Veterinary Customer Service Representative
Lowell Road Veterinary Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-doctor veterinary hospital offering personal, progressive, and comprehensive care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets in Hudson, New Hampshire. Our services include annual wellness care, anesthesia and sedation, dentistry, internal medicine, laser therapy, in-house pharmacy, surgery, urgent/immediate care, rehabilitation, and acupuncture. We are equipped with ultrasound, underwater treadmill therapy, massage therapy, digital radiography, dental X-ray, and a complete in-house laboratory. Our sister hospital, Bedford Veterinary Medical Center, is located 25 minutes away in Bedford, New Hampshire.
Located on 288 Lowell Road in Hudson, our hospital is just south of Manchester and next to Nashua. New Hampshire offers beaches, mountains, and city life within short driving distance, making it an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts and families.
About The Role
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients—both in person and over the phone. You’ll help guide them through their visits with empathy, professionalism, and care.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
- Triage client concerns and direct them appropriately
- Answer phone calls and emails; route inquiries as needed
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maintain daily flow
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and review invoices
- Offer emotional support during sensitive or stressful situations
- Support a positive client experience from start to finish
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of veterinary receptionist or animal care experience preferred
- Compassionate, calm, and confident communicator
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, team player, and proactive problem-solver
- Self-starter with a desire for continued learning and professional growth
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Pay
$18-$23/hour
