Veterinary Criticalist with Established Team
About the role
The successful candidate will be a 2nd veterinary criticalist (or residency-trained individual) joining the established Critical Care team at MedVet Northern Utah's 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Sunset, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services to hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with other ER doctors and specialists at MedVet Salt Lake City
- Participate in the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program
- Work in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities
Requirements
- Current veterinary license in good standing
- Experience in critical care or residency training preferred
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Passing scores on relevant board exams
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Shifts are typically 12-hour blocks, with rotating weekends and holidays.
