Veterinary Criticalist
About the role
Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Veterinary Criticalist to the Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center team. Join our beautiful new 15,000-square-foot facility in the Austin/Round Rock area. You'll be part of a collaborative specialty and emergency team with access to Critical Care/Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Dentistry, Cardiology support, and seven-day imaging support. AAHA-accredited, Fear Free certified, full-service hospital. Our services are available 24/7 to companion animals in Austin and nearby areas. We have an outside contractor for cardiology and a sonographer available for imaging Monday–Sunday. Collaboration and Critical Care support from our nearby Pet Specialists of Austin team and Criticalist.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
- Board Certified Veterinary Criticalist or Residency Trained Veterinarian
