About the Role

Garden State Veterinary Services is hiring a Veterinary Client Services - Front Desk professional to support our busy emergency and specialty practice. This role is pivotal as you will be the first point of contact for clients, setting the stage for a positive experience. You will check clients in and out, book appointments, process payments, and manage busy phone lines.

About GSVS

We are a multispecialty practice with board-certified specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and critical care. Our clients and patients also have access to ophthalmology, oncology, radiation oncology, neurology, dermatology, and radioactive iodine treatment via our affiliated practice in Eatontown, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and set a positive tone for their visit
• Check clients in and out of the hospital
• Book appointments and manage scheduling
• Process payments and discuss financial questions with clients
• Field busy phone lines and act as a liaison between clients and clinical staff
• Perform data entry with attention to detail
• Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a client service role
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required (training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple phone lines
• Comfort with handling deposits and financial discussions
• Empathy and compassion for clients
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Positive outlook and commitment to long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
