Veterinary Assistant - Swing Shift

About the role

Mission / Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, Mission (Kansas City Metro) has a great opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant or experienced Veterinary Technician who wants to work with a team focused on teamwork and caring for each other. This position offers exposure to a diverse caseload, access to advanced imaging and monitoring tools, and the chance to learn from board-certified specialists.

Responsibilities

• Available from 2pm - 2am, Thursday - Saturday
• Enjoy exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to perform advanced techniques
• Work as part of a supportive team that values mentoring and learning
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Learn and teach new techniques to colleagues

Requirements

• Must be a Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Outstanding client service and patient care skills
• Ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations

Pay

• $15-$22 per hour for a Veterinary Assistant
• $22-$28 per hour for a Registered Veterinary Technician
• Shift differentials apply

Schedule

• Variates as a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week clinic
