Veterinary Assistant FT/PT

About the role

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team at Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital. This is a full-time position with evening and Saturday shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient exams and helping our doctors with all things medical
• Communicating with clients about their pets' health and care instructions
• Collecting samples for lab testing and helping with routine diagnostics
• Monitoring patient progress and providing support during appointments
• Giving medications and treatments as needed
• Keeping the exam rooms organized and stocked
• Helping our team with daily tasks and making sure everything runs smoothly
• And more!

Qualifications

• Experience working in a veterinary office
• A passion for working with pets and people
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive attitude and ability to build rapport with clients and patients
