Veterinary Assistant Experienced

About the role

In this position you will support our team by creating a positive, low‑stress atmosphere for clients and patients. Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or a technician in training, you will apply your knowledge and skillset to provide high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support the veterinary team in daily operations.
• Maintain a calm and welcoming environment for clients and patients.
• Assist with surgical preparation and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide peri‑operative care.
• Perform dentistry, radiology, and laboratory tasks as needed.
• Handle venipuncture, catheter placement, and pharmacy duties.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client education.

Requirements

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or technician in training.
• Enrollment in a veterinary technician certification program is strongly encouraged.
• Ability to perform the listed clinical and client‑care tasks.

Pay

$18 – $20 per hour, based on skill set and experience.

Schedule

Full‑time position with required weekend rotation.
